KANTHASAMY IN HINDI?

Vikram’s big budget movie Kanthasamy, directed by Susi Ganeshan, is likely to have a Hindi dubbed version too. Kanthasamy, all set to be released on August 21, has been filmed at a very big budget, exceeding Rs. 60 crore and has been shot in about two-and-a-half years. Of course Vikram is all set to make his direct debut in Hindi, with the Mani Rathnam-directed Ravan. The dubbed version of Kanthasamy, which has Shriya Saran in the female lead role, will hit theatres much before Ravan. This is not the first time that a Vikram film is getting a Hindi version. His Anniyan, which was a real big blockbuster, was released in Hindi as Aparichit. There is a buzz that some of Vikram’s earlier movies are likely to be dubbed into Hindi soon.
