INGREDIENTS
Rice : ¼ kilo
Jaggery : ½ kilo
Coconut milk : 1 cup
Salt : a little
Ginger powder : ½ spoon
Coconut : 3 pieces
Oil or dalda : ¼ kilo
Cumin powder : ¼ spoon
Method
Soak rice in water for 12 hours.Grind to a nice batter.Make a thick syrup with jaggery.Mix syrup and batter and set aside for 8 hours.Add coconut milk, cumin powder, ginger powder.Cut coconut pieces into very small pieces, add to the batter and mix well.Heat oil in a frying pan.Make small balls, flatten and add to the oil.When both sides turn red, remove from the oil.
